TV TecStyle Visions: Status as leading trade fair impressively confirmed

High internationality and very good visitor quality ensure top marks

The trade fair association for visual communication and haptic advertising, EXPO 4.0, impressed with 421 exhibitors and 12,518 visitors from 30 January to 1 February 2020 in Stuttgart: TV TecStyle Visions, trade fair for textile finishing and promotion, enriched the trade fair association with a top-class range of exhibitors, a high degree of internationality and a supporting programme characterised by innovations and knowledge transfer. It impressively demonstrated its status as the leading trade fair for the European textile finishing industry: 262 exhibitors, including all relevant companies from the textile and technology exhibition segments, manifest their status as the European industry meeting place every two years in Stuttgart. The leading trade fair confronts the uncertain European market situation and uncertainties in the trade, the number of exhibitors remained almost constant compared to the previous event (2018: 270). The 126 international exhibitors came to Stuttgart from 21 countries. The top 5 countries of origin are Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Poland and Italy.
Many decision makers from the DACH region
Within the framework of TV TecStyle Visions, trade visitors were particularly interested in the various printing processes, embroidery and textiles. The entire EXPO 4.0 trade fair network attracted 17 percent international visitors from 50 countries to Stuttgart. With the top visitor countries of Switzerland and Austria, the charisma of Europe's leading trade fair manifests itself. 35 percent of all trade visitors to TV TecStyle Visions travelled more than 300 kilometres to Stuttgart.
The quality of the trade visitors has been a reliable constant for years: four out of five visitors are significantly involved in purchasing and procurement decisions, 87 per cent have specific purchasing intentions and 84 per cent of visitors would like to invest within the next 12 months. An overall rating of 2.0 for the trade fair network and the intention to visit again by 4 out of 5 visitors underscores the positive synergy effects that result from the parallelism of the three trade fairs in the EXPO 4.0 trade fair network. This is also reflected in the length of stay, with visitors spending an average of 4.8 hours at the three fairs.
Rich supporting programme
In addition to the range of exhibits, TV TecStyle Visions has been convincing for years now with a comprehensive supporting programme. It is not only on the stands that real innovations and trends that move the industry are shown. The TecCheck Area in this year's trade fair edition served as a glimpse into the near future. In the digital Microfactory, nine companies, coordinated by the DITF (German Institute for Textile and Fiber Research Denkendorf), illustrated the possibilities of digitalization in manufacturing. Within an hour, a polo shirt was created, from 3D design and conception, to printing, heat setting, cutting and making up. The trend topics of the industry and the wealth of innovations, such as the possibility of personalisation and automation in textile finishing, were also on display in the specialist forum. The TecStyle Fashion Show, the trade forum and also Charlies Corner offered visitors a platform for exchange and knowledge transfer as well as another presentation opportunity for exhibitors.
The next TV TecStyle Visions will take place in the EXPO 4.0 trade fair combination with WETEC and GiveADays next time in two years. The date is currently reserved from 10 to 12 February 2022.
