Environmentally friendly product packaging with digitally punched laser engraving

The family-run company Nakamoto Forestry is the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of Japanese Yakisugi wooden facades. THIMM produces for Nakamoto Forestry a packaging concept consisting of presentation packaging for shipping and displays.

Nakamoto Forestry focuses on sustainability, authenticity and quality. The packaging should also show these characteristics in order to form a coherent overall concept. The packaging made of environmentally friendly corrugated board is enhanced by digitally die-cut engraving the logo. This die-cutting represents a high degree of exclusivity through the most filigree contours. Precisely fitting inlays ensure perfect product protection and enable an effective presentation of the products directly after opening the packaging. The digital laser engraving of the presentation packaging ensures even more high quality and differentiation and thus stands for the quality of the products packed in it. Laser punching uses digital data, which can be quickly modified and thus offers a high degree of flexibility. The advertising effectiveness of this unique packaging is enhanced by the filigree laser engraving of the Nakamoto Forestry logo. The precisely fitting inlays offer comprehensive product protection and allow for a good presentation of the high-quality wooden facades. This packaging concept is the more sustainable alternative to environmentally friendly packaging materials.
