Sonnenbild Group Switch To Taopix For Their Photo Commerce Needs

The Sonnenbild Group have chosen to switch to Taopix as their Photo Commerce platform. The group that have 30 stores in Southern Germany and was founded in the early 2000s, offer a wide range of photo gifts, photobooks, canvas prints, calendars and many more print products.

“Since our inception, we have acquired several businesses including Foto Express, Photo Porst, Foto Stober Group and DPL, previously an independent photo lab that services over 700 photo resellers. Our main business focus is School Photography as well as the consumer market. We pride ourselves in offering standardised pricing & high-quality products regardless of whether the customer purchase is online or in store. We believe this gives our customers the freedom to buy in the way that they are most comfortable with.” Says Martin Schlumprecht, CEO of the Sonnenbild Group.

“We decided to switch our photo commerce & personalisation platform to Taopix after watching the personalisation and photo software market for some time. We started noticing that other white label software providers were slow to progress with developments, and some just stopped all together. The main reason we chose Taopix was their continuous innovation and progression. We are very fond of the user-friendly mobile and online interface. The fact that Taopix has a centralised backend for both the online & desktop applications means that we can roll out and manage our system very efficiently. We are in the process of integrating Taopix seamlessly into our production workflow which is very important for us in order to scale our business.” Continues Mr Schlumprecht.

The Sonnenbild Group plan to roll out with their Taopix release in the next 6 to 8 weeks.

“We are extremely happy to welcome Mr Schlumprecht and the Sonnenbild Group to the Taopix family. We are working closely with the team to achieve their goals of rolling out and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.” says Steffen Haaga, Commercial Director for Taopix.
