Registration for the OctoberPDFest online opened by the PDF Association

As of now, interested parties can register online for participation in the OctoberPDFest from the PDF Association. This is a month-long virtual event with almost daily expert presentations from all over the world on the diverse possibilities and solutions of PDF technology. The main target groups are user companies and developers of PDF applications.

At the opening, Dietrich von Seggern, Managing Director of callas software and Deputy Chairman of the PDF Association, will speak about PDF/A-4, PDF/X-6 and the other new PDF standards such as PDF/VT-3 and PDF/R on Monday, October 5 at 4:00 p.m. A highlight will be the presentation by Prof. Chris Prom, Associate Dean for Digital Strategies at the University of Illinois and head of the Task Force "E-mail in PDF", on Wednesday, October 21, at 4:00 p.m. Under the title "A Specification for the Use of PDF for Packaging and Presentation of Email" he will present the results of a joint US government, education and industry task force against the degradation of email.
Comprehensive thematic review
