Users of the online design tool have access to 20 million images from Shutterstock’s extensive collection
Graphic designers, marketing managers and advertising professionals all order print products for their advertising and marketing activities in the Onlineprinters web shop. Clients also include many self-employed people, business owners, stores and start-ups. For this target group, the company provides an online design tool on its website which enables customers to design print products, such as business cards and flyers, easily and free of charge in their browser using templates.
With the recent integration of Shutterstock, the global creative platform, Onlineprinters has taken the next step by opening up Shutterstock’s vast content library to its customers: "Searching professional stock photos for their graphic design projects is part of the daily routine of design professionals. However, this can be challenging for smaller businesses, such as craftsmen, retail shop owners, hairdressers and other self-employed people, who often resort to free image databases. But the graphics there are often of inferior quality and the selection is limited, involving more effort and leading to rather mediocre results," explains Fabian Stich, the CCO of Onlineprinters.
To assist customers with their image search, the online print shop has been offering users of its online design tool access to Shutterstock images via an API interface since November. "We are pleased to be able to provide our customers further added value thanks to this partnership because it allows them to design more professional print items and order them through our online shop," says Fabian Stich.
To help customers to quickly find the right graphic, the design professionals at Onlineprinters have created industry-specific and topic-based image libraries. Customers who don’t find what they are looking for in these collections can use an advanced search function to access a total of 20 million images.
