(Konica Minolta) today announces new releases of Nuance Equitrac intelligent print management software and eCopy ShareScan document scanning and distribution software for Konica Minolta's award-winning line of bizhub® Multifunctional Products (MFPs - print, copy, fax, and scan all in one system).
By supporting the latest releases of Nuance software solutions, Konica Minolta enables customers to reduce costs associated with printing and improve electronic document workflows.

Equitrac Office and Equitrac Express 5.2
Equitrac Office and Equitrac Express 5.2 help organizations control and manage their print environments. New enhancements include the iQueue feature, which enables enterprise-wide printing without the need to process print jobs through print servers. It also features a single print queue for users and a wide range of print finishing options. Equitrac users now have the ability to release their print job from a web browser using their PC or a mobile device. Version 5.2 also includes increased device support for up to 25 bizhub MFPs for its Smart Print capability. This latest release of Equitrac has earned certification in Konica Minolta's bizhub Extended Solutions Technology (bEST) program for a seamless interface between bizhub MFPs and software applications residing on a PC or server.
eCopy ShareScan
eCopy ShareScan 5.2 is a document scanning and distribution solution that converts paper-based information into secure digital documents. Coupling eCopy ShareScan and bizhub MFPs enables office workers to easily scan documents into any electronic workflow. New features include the email and Folder Watching Service, which captures electronic files and documents by monitoring network folders and email addresses. This allows customers to expand eCopy ShareScan workflows to include electronic documents, files, and images from virtually any source – including mobile devices, email, MFPs or scanners not on the supported device list.
