Ricoh Americas Corporation has been selected by OpenText as its Information Exchange 2014 Global Strategic Partner of the Year. This marks the second year in a row Ricoh has received the recognition, achieved for nearly a decade of helping customers mobilize their business information and, according to OpenText, driving 117 percent YOY growth.
Information Exchange is one of five business pillars of OpenText, a leader in enterprise information management (EIM). OpenText gives the award to the partner that best shares the goals, values and vision of the company and complements Information Exchange solutions, which facilitate efficient, secure and compliant information exchange for organizations around the world. Ricoh received the award at OpenText's Enterprise World 2014 Partner Summit, which took place Nov. 10-11 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
"Ricoh has been a strategic partner to OpenText for over a decade, and has played a key role in helping us grow our global footprint," said Eric Morgison, Vice President of Strategic Markets, Information Exchange, OpenText. "The innate synergy between Ricoh's Managed Print Solutions with our enterprise-grade fax services helps customers profit and grow as they prepare for the future."
The OpenText and Ricoh partnership brings value to customers by offering a seamless network faxing experience from a Ricoh multifunction product (MFP) and OpenText software, RightFax Connector. Together, the companies have optimized business processes and workflow for shared customers by providing an efficient and cost-effective fax infrastructure. This solution enables companies to tackle their most pressing challenges around efficiency, productivity and compliance to streamline fax creation, management and distribution. The partners are also busy developing new business information solutions that will help customers take advantage of platforms like mobility and the cloud.
"This recognition honors a decade of working together to make information work for our customers through managed print services, enterprise faxing and other information mobility solutions," said Tim Vellek, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Ricoh Americas Corporation. "We look forward to continuing this close partnership, and helping customers achieve their most important business goals, for decades to come."
