Ricoh to exhibit prototype with Pexip application at ISE 2015

Ricoh is set to amplify its presence at ISE 2015 when it exhibits the prototype of its RICOH Unified Communication System P3500 complete with an implemented application from Pexip, a leading innovator in scalable, distributed videoconferencing software.

The Pexip Infinity platform ensures that Ricoh's innovative video conferencing solution – which integrates video, audio, text and interactive media – provides users with increased capacity and flexibility thanks to its ease of use and portability.

The announcement adds to Ricoh's Communication Services offering, which enables professionals to facilitate fluent, real-time information sharing. Ricoh Communication Services is one of eight integrated service lines which complement Ricoh products and provide businesses with a single resource for their service needs.

"We are very proud to be working with Ricoh." said Simen Teigre, Pexip's CEO and Co-founder. "The Pexip Infinity platform is created from the ground up to be able to provide the capacity and feature sets required by large user networks and enterprises. Ricoh is a worldwide leader in office solutions, and their customers' very high demands and expectations show that the platform is second to none. Providing Ricoh with our technology is fundamentally rewarding."

Ricoh and Pexip have long shared a commitment to innovation within the communication services space, as well as a vision to drive collaboration and mobility.

"It was important to ensure that the Ricoh Unified Communication System P3500 was based on a platform that can scale with enterprise user requirements", said Hede Nonaka, Corporate Senior Vice President, VC Business Group, Ricoh Company Ltd. "The Pexip application is a natural fit with its distributed architecture, industry-leading feature set, and simplicity to form a comprehensive collaboration platform for our customers. As we see the enterprise collaboration culture shift from the scheduled meeting room to personal devices and ad-hoc meeting requirements, this evolution will increase flexibility into the future."
