As a successful end of the year, colour management and proofing specialist CGS ORIS delivers new software versions of its proofing and prototyping solutions. COLOR TUNER 4.2 and FLEX PACK 4.2 contain numerous new and improved functions that make users' daily work with colours even easier.
So-called colour IDs for spot colours can be created and printed with just a few clicks. The individualised colour reference cards show the selected colours on an A5-sized page as a solid tone and in 10% tone value steps. In practice, the binding and reliable colour transfer throughout the entire supply and production chain leads to maximum predictability of print results, even more precise colour reproduction, easier repeatability and major time and cost savings.
For optimal use and an ideal exchange of spot and brand colours, access to the manufacturer's COLOR CLOUD is recommended. This way, the data can be flexibly managed digitally and analogue - perfectly according to requirements and customer wishes. Access to the cloud and data exchange between all CGS ORIS applications has been further optimised and enables even more efficient, seamlessly networked work.
The collective print manager also contains new features. For example, the arrangement of jobs in the gang form can be changed manually, positioned even more precisely, automatically aligned and evenly distributed.
In addition, new Pantone compartments, profiles of the International Colour Consortium, reference print profiles and test charts have been added. From now on, these can also be provided with a full white background.
In COLOR TUNER, additional large format printers from Canon have been implemented and also in FLEX PACK some new devices are available (among others the inkjet printers/cutters TrueVIS VG3-640 and VG3-540).
As always, customers with a maintenance contract will automatically receive all information and access data. All other users will receive the upgrades at favourable conditions.
