Pipe and cable clamp for one-handed use

HellermannTyton, the US specialist for cable management solutions, has launched Quick2Clamp, a pipe and cable clamp that can be easily fastened, filled and closed to the desired diameter with one hand.

HellermannTyton is a global manufacturer of cable management and identification solutions for the automotive, solar, electrical, construction, industrial automation, broadband and other OEM markets.

The company's integrated approach to product design, sustainability, production, quality assurance and delivery is said to be optimized for the benefit of local and global customers. HellermannTyton operates in 38 countries in addition to Germany and has its North American headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Craftsmen usually love their tools, but sometimes it's even better to do without them altogether. Especially in cramped situations where there is hardly room for a hand, let alone additional tools. HellermannTyton has now launched the Quick2Clamp cable clamp for precisely such cases. The one-piece design of the Quick2Clamp requires no additional hardware. An installer places the clamp on the strut and rotates it 90 degrees. Then simply insert the cable(s) or conduit and close the Quick2Clamp with one hand to the desired diameter. No holding a bracket in one hand while screwing on a screw with the other, no tools that are accidentally dropped - or as HellermannTyton puts it: no sweat. Quick2Clamp is currently available in three sizes, from 0.5 to two inches in diameter. Incidentally, Quick2Clamp was developed from real-life requirements and HellermannTyton's Ratchet P-Clamp design. According to the manufacturer, this pedigree alone should give it an edge over the competition.
