With Dassault Systèmes, Batz Group focuses on platform strategy to gain competitive advantages in the global market

- Spanish-based supplier of tools and systems to major OEMs moves to 3DEXPERIENCE platform to improve quality, safety and time to market

Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) announced that the Batz Group, a provider of products and services to the automotive industry, has launched the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The Spanish-based company has been a customer of Dassault Systèmes for many years. Now the Group has decided to migrate all its applications to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in order to improve its business processes and become even more competitive in the global market.

In the wake of technological changes in the transport and mobility industry and in view of the increasing complexity of vehicles, suppliers such as the Batz Group must find ways to strengthen their skills and resources. The aim is to be able to quickly supply major OEMs worldwide with correspondingly high-quality tools and systems. The Batz Group will use the industry solution "Bid to Win" on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to increase its agility, improve process control, increase the quality and safety of its tooling and control systems and shorten its time-to-market.

The Batz Group will be able to integrate project management on a digital platform in the future. This will facilitate the continuous exchange of information across departmental boundaries and enable those involved to work together more quickly and efficiently. Teams can work together securely in real time throughout the entire product life cycle and access up-to-date information on development changes, product data and requirements management and exchange this information with the customers and suppliers involved in a project.

"The supplier business is becoming increasingly competitive. We have therefore decided to integrate document, CAD and project management as well as parts lists into Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform," says Jose Angel Fernandez Gutiérrez, CAD/CAM & PLM Manager, Batz Group. "Since implementation, we have seen significant improvements: more orders, quicker access to project data, shorter production times and reduced quality and cost risks. It also means that our products reach the market faster".
