Leonhard Kurz confirms his participation in the postponed Drupa, which will take place in Düsseldorf from 20 to 28 April 2021. The company has been represented at Drupa without interruption since 1954 - and nothing is set to change in the coming year. As the central trade fair for the print media industry, Drupa is an important platform for Kurz to showcase its current finishing solutions.
Having presented a detailed hygiene and infection prevention concept, Kurz is confident that Drupa can be held in a safe environment for visitors and exhibitors alike. The measures envisaged include restrictions on the number of people passing through the stand by means of limited ticket dispensing, the control of walking routes, a ventilation system that ensures fresh air of the same quality as outside air, and special requirements for stand construction.
Kurz plans to provide information about current innovations on the Internet, and to present upgrades and the latest developments at drupa 2021. The fair will demonstrate advances in hot stamping, cold and digital transfer, the latest finishing equipment and sustainable decoration solutions. The company anticipates that Drupa 2021 may not be able to take place with its customary comprehensive international scope. Nonetheless, it considers Drupa participation to be very important.
"Discussions with our customers have shown that they do not want to miss this unique industry meeting and the inspiration provided by Drupa. Right now the print media industry is looking for new impulses and ways to boost order books. We can show them creative solutions and look forward to exchanging ideas with our customers and partners," explains executive vice-president Walter Kurz.
