Flexi PRINT RS and Flexi SIGN RS contribute to greater budget control and increased service to end-users
Following the successful introduction of Flexi® 22, SA International (SAi), the leading provider of software solutions for the signmaking, digital printing, textile and CNC machining industries, announces Flexi PRINT RS and Flexi SIGN RS to enable more cost-effective accessibility to the company’s software subscriptions in Latin America.
The introduction of the two new packages, which are based on the recently-launched Flexi 22 sign & display software, follows research with Latin American customers which revealed that affordability was affected by often-large local currency exchange rate variations. As a result, for customers in the region, this made budget planning difficult and continuous subscriptions impossible.
“The benefits of SAi software subscriptions are well-known, but we noticed that in Latin American countries, users typically subscribe for a short time, cancel the subscription and renew it a few months later,” explains Annette Plummer, VP Marketing, SAi. “This meant that use of SAi Flexi software was irregular, especially at smaller shops, and that only for larger jobs and customers would the subscription be renewed.”
Recognizing this problem – and its effect on the ease of production – SAi developed the two new packages at a price where subscriptions could be sustained.
Flexi PRINT RS offers nearly all the features of the full version including:
Print Reordering for faster and easier process of repeat orders.
Transparent Mask as White Under Flood (including .TIFF and .PNG files). This enables faster set-up and printing under the entire non-transparent image area, and adding white under transparent .TIFF and .PNG files simply by changing the settings.
Transparent Background – a time-saving feature that enables the fast removal of background colors using a virtual interface. Clean images are assured by adjusting tolerances.
Flexi SIGN RS includes new Flexi 22 Printing and Production tools:
Thumbnail Images in the Production Manager Queue to simplify the workflow by providing visual references for jobs or tiles.
Dynamic Marquee for Masking Transparencies – This feature makes it easier to clean up images and apply transparent backgrounds. Tolerances can be adjusted with the results immediately displayed on the preview screen.
Both packages include the SAi Connect Dashboard for accessing important information, managing software licenses and downloading the latest software from a single simple interface.
The price of regional subscriptions is $24.99/month for Flexi PRINT RS and $14.99/month for Flexi SIGN RS. Local currencies are currently available for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru*. Arrangements for local currency subscriptions are in progress for Ecuador and Uruguay.
