Marbach, Heilbronn-based tool supplier for the packaging industry, takes on social responsibility as a family-owned company.
The company therefore, not only traditionally donates 10,000 euros to social projects at Christmas, but also participates in various CSR campaigns during the year. The current CSR Report 2020 was published in July.
Birgit Schuster, CSR Officer at Marbach: "Especially in the pandemic year 2020 it has been even more important for us to take responsibility and make our contribution to society. Solidarity is what really counts in these times. That's why we not only produced face shields and provided them free of charge to hospitals and doctors, but we also launched the Aktion|M for our employees."
And that's not all. In 2012, Marbach signed the so-called "Heilbronn Declaration on the Social Responsibility of Medium-Sized Businesses in the Economy" and in this context published its first CSR. This has now been issued for the second time.
Marbach is looking forward optimistically to the future, and some positive experiences the company has definitely taken from the pandemic time is the rapid progress in digitalization and the flexibilization of work.
