World Premiere of the Granit Three-Knife Trimmer Set For March 20

Muller Martini Eastern Europe's Open House in Rannersdorf Near Vienna

To mark the 40th anniversary of Muller Martini Austria, Muller Martini Eastern Europe will host an open house event on 20 March from 11am to 5pm in Rannersdorf near Vienna. Under the slogan "Fit for future markets", not only will the MMServices global service portfolio and the new competence center for used machines be presented, but the new Granit three-knife trimmer will also be unveiled.

Muller Martini will perform live demos showing how versatile the fully automated Granit, which impresses with consistently high trim quality thanks to innovative SmartPress technology, is for use in softcover and hardcover lines. The patented SmartPress technology ensures a gentle and controlled pressing procedure in which all air between the sheets of paper completely escapes, even if the product is bulky. That means the product can be trimmed perfectly, which is key to consistently high product quality. Production runs can be planned and performed efficiently with a job changeover time of just three minutes. Bookbinders can vastly increase the productivity of an older line, especially for relatively short runs, by making an investment of manageable volume.

Concepts for Lifecycle Management

In addition to the world premiere of the Granit, Muller Martini will also present the MMServices global service portfolio. "The portfolio optimizes operational and investments costs, ensures productivity, quality and added value, provides reliable investment protection for production machinery, and increases the profitability of machines," explains Roland Henn, Managing Director of Muller Martini Eastern Europe and host of the open house event. "Our specialists will present detailed concepts for lifecycle management," he adds.

Since there is a new competence center for used machines in Rannersdorf, visitors to the open house can pick up ideas for their own machine lineup and see for themselves how used equipment is professionally overhauled by Muller Martini, from cleaning alone to full reconditioning, all accompanied by expert service advice. At the open house event, Henn will also explain the new organization of Muller Martini Eastern Europe. "We will show that Muller Martini is an even more reliable partner for our customers in Austria and Eastern Europe."
