More than 80 sessions, workshops and demonstrations to help packaging specialists get connected
The largest technology-focused event for packaging professionals is just weeks away - and EskoWorld 2021 is ready to deliver its most exciting agenda yet.
Between May 17 and May 21, hundreds of online attendees will take part in the annual technology showcase, with a packed program focusing on the digital transformation of the packaging industry. With more than 80 sessions, demonstrations and workshops lined up, the virtual event will bring packaging supply chain partners together across five days, enabling them to learn, share and discover the latest innovations.
“EskoWorld 2021 is all about connecting packaging professionals,” said Melissa Plemen, Esko Sr. Director of Inside Sales and Marketing. “Our agenda is packed with workshops, discussions and demonstrations to highlight how Esko solutions are able to digitize, automate and connect industry processes to boost operational efficiency, reduce waste, and increase print quality, as the industry progresses on its digital transformation journey.”
The full schedule features everything from software best practice workshops and product familiarization roadmap sessions through to dedicated educational sessions, such as an in-depth Color Standards masterclass with Esko Senior Color Product Specialist Mark Samworth (May 18). The week-long event will also feature group round table discussions, including the eagerly anticipated ‘What do they think?’ (May 20) where four flexo industry experts discuss the problems faced by the industry today and into the future.
“We’ve made one-to-one appointments with our dedicated experts available, and they will be accessible throughout the virtual event to discuss hot topics such as the best ways traditional processes can be digitized and automated,” said Melissa. “Roadmap sessions, panel discussions and presentations highlighting the numerous opportunities for digital transformation are just a few of the ways attendees will be able to get the most out of this online event.”
The keynote speech at this year’s EskoWorld will be delivered by Shane Snow, an award-winning journalist and best-selling author of ‘Smartcuts’, ‘The Storytelling Edge’ and ‘Dream Teams’. Shane’s clever and intelligent keynote will debunk myths of success and share unforgettable stories surrounding breakthrough innovation.

“Being virtual, EskoWorld 2021 is highly flexible, enabling attendees to pick and choose what and when they want to engage with the program. They can register for as many sessions as they want and can watch recordings if they are unable to attend the live events. What’s more, the sessions will be available for up to a year after the event,” said Melissa.

A total of 86 dedicated sessions will address the latest cloud technology solutions from the company, alongside new flexo platemaking hardware developments, in addition to the latest artwork, design and prepress software developments.
