SCALABLE END-TO-END SOLUTIONS TO FUTURE-PROOF SIGN, DISPLAY AND WIDE-FORMAT BUSINESSES
Esko plans a significant presence at FESPA 2015, being held in Cologne, Germany, May 18 to 22. Esko's offerings are designed to help sign and display operations of all types address today's complex production demands. Esko will be located on stand R50 in Hall 6 at the show.
"Esko's Kongsberg tables are well-known in the industry for their robustness, flexibility, versatility and precision. Fifty years of expertise in developing cutting tables allowed us to create the broadest range of high-quality solutions for all types of sign and display graphics businesses. It goes without saying that the Kongsberg tables are taking the center stage on Esko's FESPA stand," comments Armand Gougay, Esko Vice President EMEA. "In addition to the tables, we will be showing powerful yet flexible software solutions that support all aspects of sign, display and wide-format production. An integrated end-to-end solution from a long-term, renowned and stable supplier that also incorporates third-party elements is the ideal approach for any business, small or large. And that is exactly what attendees can expect from Esko at FESPA 2015."
A galaxy of future-proof solutions on display
Businesses looking to invest in updating their infrastructure to include the latest technologies also want to be assured that these investments will act to future-proof their businesses. "We not only address current market requirements," Gougay adds, "but we also deliver solutions that will be a valuable asset for years to come." At FESPA 2015, Esko will demonstrate a variety of hardware and software solutions that can be modularly combined to fit any sign, display or wide-format production workflow.
New and demonstrated for the first time in Europe will be the i-cut Production Console (iPC) which drives all functionality on Esko Kongsberg tables. A good user interface is key to secure efficient, safe and high quality operations, and a great user experience has steered the development of this operator interface. The iPC brings a new dimension to operator guidance and machine control thanks to its ingenious design and range of logical, user-friendly features.
Also on display will be Esko's i-cut Suite, a collection of prepress and pre-production software solutions designed to eliminate errors, save time and reduce waste. Esko will also be featuring ArtiosCAD and Studio structural design software for 3D design of displays and other structures, including dedicated tools to streamline structural design, product development, virtual prototyping and manufacturing. One exciting highlight is Esko's Automation Engine which manages prepress workflow automation. Dynamic workflows from design to the digital press and beyond to the finishing device are easy to set up and operate. Automation Engine serves as the heart of any size prepress production operation.
Showcasing the Kongsberg universe
In terms of hardware solutions, Esko will be showcasing its smallest and largest Kongsberg tables, from the market's most robust line of digital finishing systems. The Kongsberg C is a state-of-the-art, super-wide digital finisher that offers the highest possible performance. Precision and productivity are guaranteed, thanks to the carbon-composite traverse beam, which is unique to Esko. The second table, the Kongsberg V for sign & display, is the ideal solution for anyone looking for accurate and high quality cutting of the most creative applications, and a first step into Kongsberg-quality finishing.
"We focus on developing solutions that minimize the need for customers to invest in different digital finishing devices for different applications, making their investments easier to justify and positioning them to enter new markets as opportunities present themselves," Gougay concludes. "At FESPA 2015, we will enlighten visitors about the importance of end-to-end production, since even the most subtle workflow change can have a significant impact on the entire operation."
