Xeikon America, Inc. today announced its participation in two major North American industry events. Xeikon will exhibit at Label Congress 2021 (Rosemont, Ill., September 29-October 1) and PRINTING UNITED (Orlando, Fla., October 6-8).
Label Congress 2021
Label Congress 2021 is a new one-time niche event from the Tarsus organizers of LabelExpo. Xeikon will exhibit a Xeikon PX3000 (Panther) UV-inkjet press; Cheetah 2.0 with the Xeikon CX500 (Cheetah) press and an updated Xeikon mini dcoat die-cut finisher to Label Congress. The PX3000 features Xeikon’s Panther technology and combines the company’s trademark quality, versatility and speed with the possibilities of inkjet. For labels requiring fine line detail, security features, opaque white or extended gamut and food-safe assurance, the Xeikon CX500 dry toner press with Cheetah technology outperforms all high-quality digital label presses in terms of productivity.
Additional highlights of the Label Congress booth will be digital embellishment solutions (e.g., embossing, tactile) and a demonstration of Xeikon’s color services.
Filip Weymans, Xeikon’s Vice President of Global Marketing, will be featured in the events conference program, presenting on Digital Embellishment Technology. His presentation will take place on September 29th, beginning at 10:05 AM.
PRINTING UNITED
Xeikon’s PRINTING UNITED booth will feature the first public North American showing of the company’s new Xeikon SX30000. Announced last year, the Xeikon SX30000 is the company’s flagship digital press for the graphic arts. Based on Xeikon’s SIRIUS dry toner technology, the press is a single-pass duplex machine capable of running at 98 feet per minute (428 letter pages per minute / 2,545 B2 sheets per hour), a 50% speed increase over previous Xeikon presses. The SX30000 is suited for a wide range of applications including high-quality books, direct mail, point-of-sale materials, security documents, wall decoration and general commercial printing.
On October 4th and 5th, Xeikon will feature Xeikon Café @ PRINTING UNITED, an abridged version of the company’s annual event held in suburban Chicago each May. The Xeikon Café event will feature presentations by noted industry experts such as Marco Boer of I.T. Strategies and Elizabeth Gooding of Inkjet Insight as well as customer “how to” discussions of their most successful and unique applications. It is co-located with the tradeshow at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center. Lunch is provided as well as a gala closing event on Tuesday evening.
