With the acquisition of the Swedish All-Print Group, Koenig & Bauer Coding has extended its portfolio of coding and marking technology to include Print & Apply labellers from the APL series..
The new APL Robotman handles labelling tasks that previously could only be handled manually. This trend-setting technology with a collaborative robot arm applies labels even to previously inaccessible areas on the product. Before the APL robot applies the label precisely and with gentle pressure, it locates the correct position for the application. According to DIN EN ISO 10218, no additional protective housings for industrial robots are required to use the Robotman labeller.
In terms of material quality, durability and international availability, Koenig & Bauer Coding relies on proven standard components from globally active brands such as a Zebra printer module or Siemens PLC for function control when setting up all APL Print & Apply systems.
