Epson further expands its SureColor MFP range

Epson is expanding its existing range of SureColor multifunction printers (MFPs) with the addition of the three SureColor SC-T5700DM (36" or 91.4 cm print width), SC-T7700DM (44" or 111.8 cm print width) and SC-P8500DM (44" or 111.8 cm print width), which offer outstanding print quality as well as impressive scanning and copying capabilities thanks to a fully integrated 36-inch dual-light CIS scanner including RGB filters.

The new SureColor SC-T Series MFPs are very compact and provide an efficient solution for professional workflows, even without additional equipment. This means that even cramped workspaces remain uncluttered and uncluttered. The development of the new SureColor SC-T is based on extensive customer feedback, making the devices a perfect fit for the needs of users in the construction, public sector, retail, GIS and education sectors. All three new SureColor SC-Ts will be available from qualified dealers from May 2023.
Although the latest SureColor MFPs are similar in many respects, it is the details that make them ideal for specific market segments.
For example, the Epson SureColor SC-T5700DM and SureColor SC-T7700DM both feature red ink, which is particularly useful in the production of complex materials for CAD, for example, but also makes it easier to reproduce difficult red tones in posters for advertising and in logos. This makes the new printers particularly attractive for markets such as architecture, engineering and CAD. But the devices also have a place in poster production, copy shops and R&D departments.
The Epson SureColor SC-P8500DM, on the other hand, improves the production of high-quality photos and images, for example, with its grey ink (instead of the red ink in the new SC-T devices). Users in the PoS, public sector and GIS sectors will find the SureColor SC-P8500DM a very high-quality production tool.
All new SureColor printers also include a range of features to further improve print and scan quality, data security and productivity. At the same time, the new SureColor printers are very compact and take up the same footprint as currently available Epson-only SureColor printers. Therefore, existing systems can also be replaced with the new SureColor without having to convert a studio or workshop.
The devices allow the creation of a particularly simple scanning workflow that minimises the time required for printing and scanning. For example, all three new SureColor work with a fully integrated CIS dual-light scanner including RGB filters. This automatically detects and enhances wrinkles and creases in a scan. Encrypted transmission of scanned data also ensures a high level of data security.
The PrecisionCore MicroTFP print head technology and the UltraChrome inks with six pigment colours are responsible for the typically good print quality and high print speed. Depending on the selected printing system, a red ink (SC-T series) or a grey ink (SC-P series) is used in addition to CMY, MK and PK. The new SureColor can also handle demanding tasks in no time at all thanks to the integrated latest Postscript version and a 960 GB SSD for storing encrypted data.
