Roland DG announces management changes

Roland DG announces the promotion of Eli Keersmaekers to President of Global Sales and Vice President of Global Marketing. Keersmaekers' role at the European level is taken over by Jerry Davies. The leadership of Roland DG Central Europe is handed over to Gregory Bilsen, who becomes CEO of the Business Unit with headquarters in Belgium and offices in Germany and France.

Roland DG Corporation is introducing these and numerous other management changes in order to increase the power of its global sales management team. The appointments reflect the growth of the company and its expansion into new, lucrative markets. The changes also allow the company to meet the challenges of a growing customer base and increasing global demand for large format printers, vinyl cutters, engravers, 3D printers and milling machines.

In his new role, Eli Keersmaekers is responsible for the sales of Roland DG products all over the world. His position as chief of the European Sales Headquarters is taken over by Jerry Davies, who has been active in the company as Managing Director of Roland DG UK for many years. Furthermore, after nine years in the position, Keersmaekers is handing over his role as CEO of Roland DG Central Europe to Gregory Bilsen, who has been President of the company since 2013.

Eli Keersmaekers said: "These are exciting times for Roland DG and I am honoured to be appointed as President of Global Sales and Vice President of Global Marketing. Roland DG offers a sophisticated product line, has passionate people and a familial atmosphere. I'm looking forward to working with a team of talented people to make this company even stronger and to increase the level of service. In Jerry, who is taking over my role at the European level, and Gregory, who is fully assuming the leadership of Roland DG Central Europe, I have two very strong successors. So I am convinced that they will deliver great work and continue to strengthen our position on a European and local level."
