ProCo invest in Concept Communications, uniting to drive increased customer service, business growth and product innovation

The unification of CCG with ProCo marks an important and exciting milestone for both businessesProCo, the Sheffield based integrated marketing communications provider has entered into a strategic partnership with Stansted based digital specialist, Concept Communications Group (CCG). The investment, which is linked to a transfer of shares to ProCo, marks the start of the two companies' commitment to a long-term partnership, joint growth and sustainability.

Based on a common business culture, both companies join forces to further strengthen their combined National and International offering, and enable them to continue to provide market leading digital print and technology enabled marketing solutions across the entire communications mix. The united business now provides superior, integrated, high-quality, high-speed communications and output - both on and off-line.

With production and campaign management centres in both the North and South of England, customers of the new integrated business will be afforded a number of additional benefits. In particular, this includes the ability to better deploy highly targeted integrated multimedia campaigns for customers, quickly and effectively - saving time, money and maximizing customer communication across their entire marketing operations.

Using the same market-leading digital press technology and innovative cross-media and automated platforms at both regional sites, customers are assured of brand consistency and high quality products.

Jon Bailey, Managing Director, ProCo comments: 'While our independent businesses were successful in their own right, by aligning our services and experience we are significantly strengthening our market offering, capability and ability to better service our nationwide accounts.

There are significant economies of scale to enjoy, but this move was never about cost cutting or business reduction. Both businesses will operate with the same management and operational teams in place, but with the combined technical and specialised account management resources to improve our go-to market strategy and better service our customers for sustainable long term growth.'

ProCo serve customers large and small in a variety of markets including retail, financial services and the public sector. Using a combination of cutting edge technology and production expertise, ProCo integrate communication activities and streamline business flow for customers, facilitating deeper and more impactful end-customer relations. ProCo's service offering includes web-to-print solutions, highly personalised direct mailings, loyalty schemes and complex data-driven marketing management tools and reporting across the entire marketing mix, both on and offline.

Having pioneered the use of digital print in marketing communications since 1991, CCG is one of the country's leading digital print and communication providers. Today, its state-of-the-art production facility in Stansted is home to the latest digital print and digital print workflow technologies, including two HP Indigo digital presses. Specialising in markets including automotive and finance, CCG's onsite finishing capabilities provide customers with an 'under-one-roof' multimedia solution for all marketing and communication requirements.

Giles Bowes, CCG Managing Director comments: 'Between our two businesses we have many complimentary attributes, including how we see the market changing and our vision for supporting customers in the future to ensure their continued success and growth. As such, we are delighted to partner with ProCo, and look forward to combining the technical expertise of both businesses, to not only respond to changing consumer habits, but pro-actively introduce new print and communication technology innovations for exciting customer opportunities. With our ability to support large nationwide accounts, the unification of CCG with ProCo marks an important and exciting milestone for both businesses.'
